Loks bar & Kitchen has finally arrived in the Southside. After 18 months of planning and building we are finally delighted to open the doors and welcome the locals to what we hope can be the place to go in the Southside for good food, great prices and a wide selection of craft beers, wines and spirits. Loks Bar & Kitchen opens at 9am Monday to Saturday and 10am on Sunday for breakfast, leading into our light bites menu served from 12 to 5pm Monday to Friday, and of course our full menu is available all day from 12 to 9:30pm. The Trophy Bar opens at 11am Monday to Saturday and 12pm on Sunday and is open till midnight Friday and Saturday. This is a cosy bar perfect for enjoying a bottle of craft beer or one of our fantastic winter cocktails on a cold winters night next to our log fire. We serve food from 12 till 9:30pm daily off our Main menu and have freshly baked Danish and croissant available to be enjoyed with a coffee up till 5pm.

"We were in on Saturday evening for dinner with a friend and may I say it looks fantastic and we had a fabulous evening we had lovely starters our mains were steaks and cooked to perfection ooooh they were yummy we all enjoyed our food and only I had a sweet oh what can I say the apple crumble was amazing, the staff were so friendly from when we entered to leaving and after dinner we went into the Trophy Bar the fire was so cosy and it was such a nice bar we stayed till closing time just passed so so fast without even knowing it , I would highly, highly recommend your Bar & Restaurant and will most certainly be visiting again x"

"The whole place is stunning"
"Had a lovely night at the opening, the whole place is stunning and completely unrecognisable from it's former self!
The staff were attentive but not in your face, and I have to give a special mention for our waitress from NZ who was very welcoming and had a great sense of humour!
The food was outstanding with the chocolate brownie for dessert being probably the best I've had!
Can't wait to come back with the rest of the family!"

"A visit to Loks is highly recommended. We went for brunch today, stayed for a few beverages in the Trophy Bar, and even tried the craft beers! Would loved to have stayed a bit longer to sample the light bite menu; it was tempting, and the atmosphere in the bar was very relaxing, but unfortunately had to leave. We will be back....."
